Server Colocation is an attractive option for individuals and small businesses that want all the benefits of having a popular website with tons of hits, but don’t necessarily want to pay for the bandwidth that such popularity requires. Server Co-location means renting the rack space with your own shipped servers to us and we do all the installation.

- Is my server insured for damage or loss by DSE?
- How do i ship my server to DSE?
- How many power supplies am I allowed per server?

- How do you handle return shipping of canceled servers or failed hardware? How much do you charge for shipping?

- We do not responsible for your server damage. All insurance is customer’s responsibility.

- How do i ship my server to DSE?
- Shipping instructions are provided through our helpdesk. If you do not have access to our helpdesk, please contact sales@ds.my to get a client account.

- How many power supplies am I allowed per server?
- We allow max 1 power supplies per server. Servers requiring extra power drop for redundant power supply will be charged extra monthly fee.

- What are the charges for remote hands for replacing/adding hard drives, ram, etc?
- Quick hardware swaps are complimentary. Remote hands that take more than 30 minutes are billed at $50/hr in 30 minute increments

- When colocating multiple servers can I have private switch, external hard drives and other accessories?
- Only if you own the FULL RACK.

- How do you handle return shipping of canceled servers or failed hardware? How much do you charge for shipping?
- We will pack your equipment and ship it back to you. We ship via DHL. Customer has to specify what how they want their package to be sent (overnight, 2nd day, ground). We charge $100 packing/handling fee + actual shipping cost.

- Do colocation servers have to be shipped to your datacenter or can I drop of my server in person?
- Colocation servers can be dropped off in person if the drop off is scheduled with at least 24 hour notice. We recommend using DHL when shipping your hardware to our data center.
